Kenwood KD 5070

Kenwood KD 5070

Hard to find model, made by Kenwood, hit the market in 1978 and retailed for about 300,00 USD - 275,00 EUR.

This is an awesome turntable, in my opinion one of the most beautiful ones ever made.

KD-5070 is a superior table and it was Kenwood top of the line, full automatic and direct drive with the top of the base made in ARCB a composite that looks and feels like marble stone, very nice.

The motor is placed in that massive anti-resonance compression base, servo-controlled, 20-pole, 30 slot brushless DC motor, precise with excellent performance low noise, wow and flutter.

The turntable can be operated both manually and automatically, the tonearm is high quality with static balance and anti-skate correction.

KD-5070 was the fully automatic.version of the Kenwood’s KD-500 manual turntable.

Overall, the Kenwood KD-5070 is a very nice turntable. Nice look and excellent performance.

If you’re looking for a high performing vintage fully automatic turntable then the Kenwood KD-5070 is the one.

Mine was in excellent condition, a rare classic, I hate to sell it but to experiment other turntables this one have to go...
